Madonna Teases New Music for 2025 with Confessions on a Dance Floor Collaborator Stuart Price
The Queen of Pop is ready to reclaim her throne.
Time may go by slowly, but Madonna fans won’t have to wait much longer for a return to the dance floor. Nearly 20 years after her acclaimed album Confessions on a Dance Floor, Madonna has reunited with producer Stuart Price for new music set to drop in 2025.
The pop icon teased the exciting news in a recent Instagram post featuring clips of her writing, singing, and collaborating with Price in the studio.
“Working on new music with Stuart Price. These past few months have been medicine for my SOUL,” the 66-year-old legend captioned her video. “Songwriting and making music is the one area where I don’t need to ask anyone for their permission. I’m so excited to share it with you. Who wants to hear new music in 2025?”

Madonna’s last studio album, Madame X, was released in 2019, but the singer has been anything but quiet in recent years. Following a serious health scare, she made a triumphant return to the stage with her Celebration Tour in 2023—a massive musical retrospective celebrating her 40-year reign in pop music. In 2022, she also dropped Finally Enough Love: 50 Number Ones, a remix compilation featuring all of her Billboard Dance Club Songs chart-toppers.
Madonna has kept her creative fire burning with notable collaborations as well. Last year, she recorded the track “Popular” with The Weeknd and Playboy Carti for HBO’s The Idol and teamed up with Sam Smith for the daring duet “Vulgar.”
Still, news of Madonna and Price reuniting is sure to thrill fans. Widely regarded as one of her best works, Confessions on a Dance Floor was a disco-driven smash that delivered iconic hits like “Hung Up,” “Sorry,” “Get Together,” and “Jump.” The album also earned Madonna a Grammy for Best Electronic/Dance Album in 2007 and cemented her reputation as a master of reinvention.
Madonna’s announcement comes amid her ongoing challenges to bring her much-anticipated biopic to life. Frustrated by producers and agents pressuring her to compromise her vision, the singer expressed her determination to forge ahead on her terms.
“We cannot shrink and make ourselves smaller. If you want something badly enough in life—the whole universe will conspire to [help] you get it,” Madonna declared. She left fans with one tantalizing question: “Should I make the story of my life into a series or a feature film?”
For now, fans have plenty to look forward to as Madonna sets her sights on reclaiming the dance floor in 2025.
