“The View” has announced that it will now air every day of the week, thanks to the launch of its new weekend streaming series, The Weekend View. This special edition of the show will stream every Saturday and Sunday, offering viewers fresh content to enjoy over the weekend.
The new show will feature The View’s Friday panel – Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, and Alyssa Farah Griffin – as hosts for the 30-minute weekend edition, which will be available on the ABC News Live streaming platform. Whoopi Goldberg, the regular moderator of the show, will not be participating in The Weekend View, as she typically takes Fridays off.
Haines shared the exciting news on the Wednesday episode of The View, revealing that The Weekend View will premiere this weekend and stream every Saturday and Sunday morning.
Produced by the same Emmy-winning team behind the main series, The Weekend View will focus on entertainment news and trending topics from social media, offering a more lighthearted and pop-culture-driven alternative to The View‘s usual political discussions. The show will also include segments from producer Brian Teta’s Behind The Table podcast.

Fellow producer Robin Hommel added, “The Weekend View will give fans even more of the ‘Hot Topics’ they love, offering original content that focuses on what’s trending.”
The View continues to air weekdays at 11 a.m. ET/10 a.m. PT on ABC, while The Weekend View will stream new episodes at 7:30 a.m. ET on Saturdays and 9:30 a.m. ET on Sundays. You can watch it on ABC News Live, Disney+, Hulu, YouTube, ABCNews.com, and the ABC News app.
